Beechbrook Capital Cricketer Cup AGM and Draw for 2026 Competition

The Cricketer Cup AGM was held last night in London. Angus Pollock (Shrewsbury Saracens) is standing down after eight years as Treasurer and is replaced by Steve Ducat (OMTs). Angus was elected as a Vice-President.

The draw for the 2026 Cricketer Cup was made. Old Elizabethans (RGS Worcester) have been invited to join, while Old Cholmelians and Downside Wanderers stand down. There are 35 teams, necessitating three bye round games. The draw can be found in the attached image and in the draw section elsewhere on the website. Holders Old Bedfordians were drawn away to Old Wellingtonians, and will have to play away in every game if they are to make the final again. The historically stronger sides are well distributed through the draw and the stand-out game in the first round is Bradfield Waifs hosting Old Cranleighians. Newcomers Old Elizabethans play away to Radley Rangers in the bye round.

The dates of the rounds are:

Bye round 17 May; First round 14 June; Second round 28 June; Quarter-final, 12 July; Semi-final, 26 July; Final at Arundel, 9 August
