New Cricket Season starts

As the new cricket season gets under way, it is only three weeks until the first Cricketer Cup matches start for the Over 50s. In the first round on 26 April, holders Bradfield Waifs take on Stowe Templars and there are seven other games.

The bye round for the main competition is on 17 May, with newcomers Old Elizabethans from RGS Worcester travelling to play the Rangers at Radley, and two other matches. Holders Old Bedfordians will have to do it the hard way to repeat their success, as they are at the bottom of the draw and face away games in every round, starting at Wellington on 14 June.

Reports on each round of games will be posted in due course.
